Method

Our qualified, experienced teachers are all native speakers of the language they teach. They bring a personal touch to their teaching in order to help each student achieve a specific goal, both  in lessons and in preparing the different exams at every level.

Course frameworks are regularly brought up to date and the latest teaching methods are used in order to ensure teaching that is simple and therefore easy to remember and master.

The direct method, intentionally chosen by the Wessex Academy, accustoms students to understand and think in the chosen language right from  the beginning, without having to translate word for word.

Various didactic methods are used from beginner to advanced levels. The different areas of language, such as oral work, grammar, vocabulary, compositions, reading, discussions, writing, comprehension, presentations, translations, and the specifications of each language are studied, allowing for quick progress and improvement.

Different certificates, diplomas and tests are prepared at every level. Commercial and specific vocabulary in keeping with students’ objectives, interests and professional requirements is studied.
